Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 2 tbsp black tea leaves
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 kombucha SCOBY
  • 1 cup starter tea (from previous batch)

Instructions

  1. Brew tea with water and sugar, cool to room temperature.
  2. Add tea to a jar, then add SCOBY and starter tea.
  3. Cover with cloth and ferment for 7-14 days.
  4. Taste and bottle for a second ferment if desired.
